Patch 5.3 - Upgrade's Revenge!

That's right everyone, Blizzard confirms the release of Patch 5.3: Escalation for this upcoming Tuesday, May 21st!  Be prepared for an abundance of new content with changes being made to many aspects of PvE and advancements to the Mists of Pandaria storyline and legendary chain that include (but are not limited to) the following:

A warm welcome to five new raiders!


 

We are excited to welcome five new raiders to our roster and we look forward to killing all the things with them!
 

Our new members are being adopted as a group from their previous guild <For Hire> where they have all been dedicated raiders for about  4 years. Just like many guilds these days that are trying to find a balance between 10 and 25 man, <For Hire> went through stressful raid nights and low attendance streaks of their own but as many stories like this end, it was time for them to get a fresh start.

Admittedly, the front page of our website has been a bit inactive for the last few weeks, but don't let that fool you! Project Icarus has been storming the Throne of Thunder, downing bosses left and right. Already 10/12, it'll be on to heroic mode before we know it!

Spotlight on Jughernaut

 

 

The March edition of our featured player of the month is our good friend Jughernaut!

Jughernaut (aka Arvind) is twenty four years old and has been a <PI> raider for a little over a year. Some of you may remember him as Cryogenics (or Kryogenics lulz) the mage, but he changed to be our Monk healer for MoP!

A Throne is Only a Bench Covered in Velvet... or Thunder.

 

 

The bell has rung, the fight has started, and <PI> comes out swinging hard! A left, a right, another left, an uppercut to the jaw of TOT and HE GOES DOWN! Ladies and gentlemen I've never seen anything like this! Right off the start we can see that <PI> wants to establish dominance in this fight. TOT is a young and relatively unknown competitor, but with a quick eye and quicker reflexes <PI> was able to pinpoint a weak spot and really capitalize on that opportunity! Looks like TOT is recovering, managing to stand on his own two feet but he's looking a little shaky. Larry, let's get a close up of the aftermath from the first exchange of blows in this heavyweight bout!

 

Congrats to everyone for a great first venture into the Throne of Thunder!

Patch 5.2 Springs Upon Us

 



Patch 5.2 is right around the corner and it's loaded up with new raid content along with a few relatively major changes for some classes. Everyone better be spending those valor points to upgrade their Sha-Touched weapons before they remove the item upgrader from the game!

Blizzard has officially updated their patch notes for China and I know us healing Priests are looking forward to the updates making their way over to this side of the world. Check them out here -
